"You can't eat at everybody house" is a meme that has circulated through the black community for the past couple of years. Like most modern memes, it originated on TikTok, and as far as I can tell, it was a reaction to a video of a woman biting butter off of a stick and spitting it onto the pan. In that, and many other cases, this axiom is true. You should not eat at the homes of people who are unsanitary and reckless with the way they prepare food, and that shouldn't be a controversial opinion.
That being said, there's a difference between spit-feeding your houseguests and having a pet in the kitchen while you're preparing a meal. This tale follows a woman who told her friend, "You can't eat at everybody's house," in reference to her house, and somehow became offended when she wasn't invited to her dinner party.
