I'm glad we have a multigenerational internet. I understand that elder millennials miss the days when the internet was their own little young person, cool kids club, but times have changed, and we have to share the internet with people of all ages. The key is finding social media sites that are developmentally appropriate for a person of your age. I'm 24, so I'm still schlepping through the wild waters of Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram. If I were ten years younger, I would probably be spending a lot more time on Snapchat, and if I was ten years older, I might've actually had a MySpace account during its prime.
One social media site is ruled by the Boomer class, and that's Facebook. It might've started as a place for college students to play hot or not, but these days, it's much more frequently used for retirees to post hilarious nonsense.
