I always find it surprising just how active the Harry Potter fandom is to this day. In New York alone, we've got a retail store that takes up a whole city block solely dedicated to The Boy Wizard, and the longest-running play currently on Broadway is all about him. Pottermania might not be what it was 15 years ago, but you'd be remiss to say it's not alive and well. One easy explanation for this is that parents who grew up watching and reading the series are now introducing their kids to it, creating a whole new generation of Potterheads.
