Flutter Entertainment Plc has proudly announced the formal approval of its near and long-term science-based emissions reduction targets by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). Furthermore, Flutter’s net-zero science-based target for 2035 has been verified by SBTi.
Aligned with the SBTi Corporate Net Zero Standard and consistent with a 1.5°C trajectory in accordance with the Paris Agreement goals, Flutter’s net-zero target signifies a crucial commitment.
The approved Scope 1, 2, and 3 targets are detailed as follows:

- Overall Net-Zero Target: Flutter pledges to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas (“GHG”) emissions across its value chain by 2035. This commitment is delineated as follows:
- Near-Term Targets: Flutter aims to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 45% by 2030 from a 2022 baseline. Similarly, Flutter commits to a 45% reduction in absolute scope 3 GHG emissions within the same timeframe.
- Long-Term Targets: Flutter endeavors to decrease absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 90% by 2035 from a 2022 baseline. Additionally, Flutter pledges a 90% reduction in absolute scope 3 GHG emissions within the same timeframe.
