When you say the word "gym" you probably have an image of what's in store. You're probably picturing complicated lifting equipment, maybe some treadmills, and a group of sweaty, muscly guys grunting. But gyms can be anything nowadays. They can be full of rock climbing walls, pilates reformers, or even American Ninja Warrior courses. People find a lot of ways to exercise their bodies, and they're all valid. Whether you're pumping your biceps with some hand weights or shredding a half-pipe on your skateboard, the important thing is that you're moving your body. It's all about what you're good at, and what you enjoy doing.
One of my toxic traits is that I think I'd be able to get pretty far in an American Ninja Warrior course, despite having no previous training. But I guess I could press my luck and try one of these newfangled gyms. The world is amazing sometimes.
